age 53, of Gardendale, passed away on February 20, 2007. He was retired from Fultondale Police Dept. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Neaves was a former member of Fairfield Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. with burial to follow in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Reedy officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m. Mr. Neaves is survived by his son, John Neaves Jr.; daughters, Jamie Neaves and Audrie Neaves; four grandchildren; Mother, Naomi Neaves; brothers, Gerald Neaves and James Neaves; sisters, Pat Slama, Brenda Cooper and Marjorie Harden.
