age 80, of Hueytown, passed away on April 16, 2007. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Priestley was retired from Bellsouth after 32 years of service. He was also a Navy veteran of six years. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Rev. Steve Sellers officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 from 12:30 until 2 p.m. He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Jane Priestley and parents John and Clara Priestley. He is survived by his daughter; Karen P. Morris (David), son, Mike A. Priestley (Paige), ten grandsons and eight great grandchildren, sister, Jeanette Arnett. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Country Cottages assisted living facility, the Brookwood ER staff and the 3rd floor CCU staff.
