Obituary
John Harold Smith passed away Monday morning September 21, 2015.
He was born on March 9, 1926 in Woodward, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps during World War II. He worked for many years at Woodward Iron Co. and retired from US Steel.
He is survived by his two sons David W. Smith and Robert F. Smith (Sharon) and two grandchildren (Robert B. and Kristin A.) He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Jean Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery with Rev. Arnold Busch officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 2:45 P.M. at Valhalla Funeral Home prior to the service.
