John Edward Weeks Jr., 73, of McCalla (Midfield) passed away on January 5, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter.

John is survived by his daughter Crystal Berry (husband Deron Berry); 3 grandsons- Justin Gossett (Wife Lauren Gossett); Payton Berry; Wesley Berry; and 3 great-granddaughters of Baton Rouge; his sister Carolyn McDuff of Las Vegas; cousin Tommy Winnett of North Carolina; and 2 special friends Courtney Mitchell and Shianne Waldrop and many more.

Those who knew him will continue to remember him and his memory remains with everyone who shared times and experiences with him throughout his life.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday January 13, 2026 at Valhalla Funeral Home. The Committal will follow at Valhalla Cemetery at Noon.
