WOLFE, JOLENE SMITH ,age 92, of Calera, passed
away on September 26, 2023. She retired from AVCO Financial
Services, in Bessemer, AL, after 25 years of dedicated service.
She was a member of the McNeil Baptist Church, Bessemer AL.
Korie J. Anderson, Senior Pastor, Liberty Baptist, West Blocton,
AL. will officiate over the services. Music will be provided by
Valhalla Funeral Home.  She was preceded in death by her
father Joe B. Smith and mother Ruth Smith, her first husband,
John N. Marlow, and their son Ronnie "Ron" Dale Marlow and
step-daughter Pamela J. Wolfe.  She is survived by her beloved
husband of 41 years John David Wolfe, Sr. of Calera, AL, her
son Michael (Anna) Marlow of Hoover; grandson, Christopher
Michael Lawley (Brynn), great-grandchildren Christian Tyler,
Elijah Cole, step-great-grandchildren Savannah , Brianna, and
Joseph, all of West Blocton, AL; grandchildren William Michael
Marlow of Alexander City, AL and Sarah Elizabeth Marlow of
Hoover, AL; Daughter Kathy D. (Jerry) Reynolds of South
Carolina; granddaughter Kristy (Tomas) Joyner, great-
grandchildren Jack, Samuel, Seth and Benjamin, all of S.C.,
granddaughter Katie (Chris) Connell, great-grandchildren Amy
and Ian, all of S.C.; granddaughter Kelly JoAnn Green (Jeremy),
great-grandchildren Isaiah and Viviann, all of Birmingham, AL;
Stepson,John(Leigh Ann)Wolfe,grandchildren Erik-Lee

Underwood and Amelia Johnette Wolfe; Pallbearers will be
John Wolfe, Christopher Lawley, William Marlow, Jeremy
Green, Douglas Yeager, Ron Whitacre, and Pastor Korie J. Anderson. Visitation
will be Monday, October 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00
p.m., followed by a Chapel service at Valhalla Funeral Home at
11:00 a.m., followed with burial at Valhalla Cemetery.
