Joseph Rupert Headley, Sr. 92 of Midfield passed away October 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1921.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Myrtice Inez Headley, daughter Diane Tate, three sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by his children, Margaret McLaughlin, Joe Headley Jr, Josephine Headley, Mike Headley; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister and one brother.

He was a member of Walnut Grove Methodist Church of Midfield. He is a Naval Veteran of World War II.

Visitation will be at Valhalla Funeral Home from five until seven on Wednesday night, October 9th. Funeral services will be at the Valhalla Funeral Home at 11:00 on Thursday morning with Rev. Jimmy Headley officiating. He will be buried at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
