Obituary
Joseph Nowak, age 101 of Bessemer died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Nowak was a native of Illinois and a long time resident of Jefferson County where he worked many various jobs during his lifetime. He was formerly a member of the CCC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Nowak; brothers Steve Nowak and Phillip Nowak.
Mr. Nowak is surivied by a son, Robert Joseph Howak; two grandsons, Mark Nowak and Robert Nowak; and several brothers and two sisters.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Cemetery. There will not be a visitation.
