age 61, of McCalla, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010. He was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. A retired electrician with Jim Walter Resources #5 mine with 30 years of service, U.M.W.A Safety Commissioner for 15 years and U.M.W.A. Chaplain for 7 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Harbison, Jr.; step-father, Wendell Harbison, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Andrea O'Quinn; daughters, Christi O'Quinn and Katie O'Quinn; grandchildren, Cameron Thrift, Calyn Thrift, Jamie McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel, Maggie McDaniel and Jackson Cooper; step-son, P.J. (Tiffany) McDaniel; step-daughter, Amanda Cooper; mother, Mary Jo Harbison; father, Sam O'Quinn; sister, Lisa Harbison Henry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Father Cullen officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
