Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Melton Cox and mother, Daisy Dean Parsons and father, John Lewis McDougal.
She is survived by her son, Robert Cox (Sue Stovall); grandchildren, Annorah Jo Vanoy (Steven), Lewis Ridge Cox (Dana), Ellen Bush (Col. Frederick) and Susan Adams (Dr. Andrew); great grandchildren, Josie Cox, Laura, Bonnie and William Bush, Layne, Rowan Eden and Gavin Adams.
