age 78, of Midfield, AL, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010. Julia was a charter member of Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church. She worked at Pizitz and served two terms on the Midfield City Council. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene, chairperson of the Western Mental Health Center. She is survived by her husband, Wallace Plant, Sr.; her sons, Wallace (Sandra) Plant, Jr, and David Plant; her sisters, Octavia Franklin and O'Reba Klepser; numerous friends and extended family members. Funeral services will be held at Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Cullman County, AL. Bro. Harry Sims officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Valhalla Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Fairfield Highlands Baptist Church.
