Kathryn Dover was born July 7, 1922 to the late Thomas and Olivia Dover, in Greenville, South Carolina. She was the last surviving sibling of seven Bill, Harold, Tom, Hubert, Erma and Edna. Kathryn grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, where she attended elementary and high school.
Kathryn married Giles Hagood and from this union, one child was born, Carolyn Hill. Kathryn was a business woman who owned a furniture and moving company business in Brooklyn, New York.
Kathryn was affectionately known as the "Tract lady" because of her strong willingness to share her faith with others. She was true to evangelism; she answered the great commission.
Kathryn is proceeded in death by her son-in-law, Sidney Hill, Sr.; grandson, Malcolm Hill; great-grandchild, Marcus Hill.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Carolyn Hill, of Birmingham, Al; two grandsons: Sidney Hill III (Clarissa), of Washington, D.C., Giles Hill (Courtney), of Marietta, GA; one granddaughter: Adrienne Hill, of Birmingham, AL; eight great grandchildren: Jacinta, Martez, Michael, Maurice, Natalya, Michelle, Morgan and Ava; twelve great great grandchildren: Anayah, I''Yonna, Wayne, Trishton, Trenton, Tishun, Mikah, Akiylah, Meleah, Karlie, Maurice, Jr. and Malachi; and her caregiver, Rosa; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Kathryn will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
