Kelley, Lamont D. "Whitt", age 45 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009. Mr. Kelley was a member of the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Debra Kelley of Birmingham; son, Joshua Kelley of Birmingham; mother, Lorena Crosby (Daniel) Whitt of Bessemer; Daniel (Denyne) Whitt, Jr. of Birmingham; sister, Kim Whitt (Datrick) Scott of Adamcville; and grandfather, Louis and Lenna Crosby. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at Valhalla Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Reese will be officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery.
