Brewer, Lena Lucille

Lena Lucille Brewer, known most of her life as Lucille, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, April, 18, 2019 in Loudon, TN at the age of 94.  Lucille will be lovingly remembered by her 4 surviving children, Ben (Linda) Brewer, Donna (Ed) McGuffie, Michael (Mary) Brewer, and Gary (Wanda) Brewer.  She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren (and another one on the way.)  She is survived by 1 half- brother.  She was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, Frank J. Brewer.  Also preceding her were 7 siblings, 6 half brothers and sisters, and 1 step brother.  Mom, Mama, Lucille, Cille, MaMa, Nanny, Aunt Cille,'s memory and the impact she had on this family will be cherished forever.

Lucille was born in Fayetteville, AL and lived in the Bessemer, AL area most of her life.  The last  9 years of her life is lived in TN.  Her priorities in life were taking care of her family which she dearly loved and going to church and worshiping her Lord.  She was a seamstress most of her working years.  In her spare time she loved quilting, watching TV,  cooking and reading, especially mysteries.

A celebration of Lucille's life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 till 2:00, with interment following the service at Valhalla Cemetery.
