Fowler, Mrs. Liddie H., age 90, of Fairfield, went to be with her Lord on January 22, 2010. Mrs. Fowler will be remembered as a strong Christian lady at Fairfield First Baptist Church where she was a member until the past several years when she became a member of North Shelby Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Lloyd E. Fowler. She is survived by two daughters Sandra Jo (Rick) Nixon, and Judy (Norman) Antonio. She also leaves three grandchildren; Norman Antonio, Jr. and his fiance Heather, April Dawn (Michael) McDonald, and Rebekah (Lee) Brown, in addition to five great grandchildren. In addition, Mrs. Fowler is survived by one brother, Rev. S. J. (Polly) Hendrix. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2010, in the Chapel of Valhalla Funeral Home at 1:00PM with burial to follow in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mrs. Fowler's name to North Shelby Baptist Church at 4100 Belcher Drive, Birmingham, AL 35242 or Alzheimers of Central Alabama at P.O.Box 2273 Birmingham, AL 35201.
