Lillian Jones Harris, age 81 of Birmingham died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harris, Jr.; her parents; Harrison Jones and Claudie May Andrews Jones; a son; Eric Ollie Harris; and three brothers.

Ms. Harris was born in Wilcox County, Alabama where she lived for forty years. She resided in Jefferson County the past forty years and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was employed at UAB as a nurse assistant with thirty years of service.

She is survived by two daughters; Virginia Brooks and Barbara Thompson (Terry); three sons; Robert Harris, Jr., Arthur Harris, and Eddie Harris (Shakitia); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one brother; Harrison Jones, Jr. (Ruby); five sisters; Mary Jones Henderson, Claudette Jones, Liza Jones Bressett, Dorothy Jones Hatch (Lewis), and Mildred Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 A. M. at Valhalla Chapel with burial in Valhalla Cemetery.
