Linda Rae Bell
Linda Rae Bell, age 55, of Northport, died Monday, June 20, 2017, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Juanita Bell. Survivors include her sisters, Beverly Bell (Chip Wells), Jan Nelson (Charles), niece, Amber Barbee (Ricky), nephew, Thomas Nelson (Jamie), and very special friend Pat Patten.

Linda received her BS and MS from the University of Alabama. She was an exceptional artist specializing in textile art. She was a cat lover and will be missed by her furry friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
