Fulkerson, Lois Evelyn (Morton), age 85, of Birmingham, passed away on July 2, 2008. She was a member of the Methodist Faith. She previously worked as a health caretaker. She has been retired a number of years. She was also a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 668. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Fulkerson; her mother and father, Mamie Morton Covington and Claude Clark Morton, Sr.; her two brothers, Guy Edward Morton and Claude Clark "Buster" Morton, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Ruby Roberson (B.Glenn); one aunt, Peggy Luther; one uncle, Lester L. Helton (Johnnie Helen); one sister-in-law, Sarah Morton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family request that memorial donations by made to the charity of your choice.
