Lois McWaters Morton

Lois McWaters Morton, 96, died Tuesday December 15, 2015 at her home in Helena, AL.

Mrs. Morton is survived by her daughter, Sandra M. Phillips of Helena, AL; three grandsons, Dale ( Jennifer ) Bowman of Chelsea, AL, Alan ( Leslie ) Bowman of Pleasant Grove, AL, and Brion ( Christie ) Bowman of Gardendale, AL; five grandchildren, Taylor and Lauren Bowman, Brandon and Aubrey Bowman and Rachael Bowman.

Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by her husband, Grady W. Morton; two sons-in-law, Charles W. Bowman and Wm. Dale Phillips and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of ten children and a member of Palmerdale Methodist Church in Palmerdale, AL.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00 A. M. at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Blake Lindsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A. M. until service time at Valhalla Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Anniston Memorial Gardens in Anniston, AL.
