Shalenko, Loretta Annette, age 41, of Birmingham, Alabama died Friday, November 15, 2013.

She was a native of Jefferson County where she lived most of her life. She resided eight years in Colorado and formerly worked at Health South in Birmingham.

Ms. Shalenko is survived by her loving pet, "Bugsy;" Mother, Carolyn Holman; a brother, Matthew Winfield; two aunts, Jean Griffith (Carey) and Louann Scoggins (David); an uncle, Charles Salvagio (Gina) and numerous cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Salvation Army Chapel in Alabaster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shelby Animal Clinic, 516 Highway 119 South, Alabaster, AL 35007.
