Lorraine Louise Cash Burnett quietly slipped away from her family and friends on Monday, December 4, 2017. She was 63 years old.
As we gather here today to celebrate Lorraine's life let us lift our eyes and remember this beautiful woman with the radiant smile that lit up any room, the kindest heart and a willingness to do for others before she did for herself.
Lorraine met Roger, the love of her life when they were 16 and 17; they have loved each other everyday since meeting and have never been apart from one another more than a minute.
A woman who loved life, she enjoyed spending time with her only daughter, Angela they were best friends. They could be found laughing and sharing conversations while watching Family Feud amongst other things at the kitchen table. Lorraine loved the beach; it was definitely her go to place. She also loved roses, "Bama" football and animals. It was her love for animals that started her 29 years career at the Midfield Animal Clinic where she advanced to Office Manager. Her love of life spilled over onto all that knew her, she was generous to a fault with such a big heart and she always saw the best in everyone.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and James Cash and a sister, Elaine Burns.
