age 85, Mrs. Hobbs was a longtime residence of Ensley. She passed away on March 1, 2007. She was a member of The Cross Church in Pinson. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Monday, March 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Pastor Jim Hill and Pastor Steve Longenecker officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar "Doc" Hobbs, daughter Linda J. Nichols and two great grandchildren. She is survived by: two sons; Gordon L. Hobbs of Orlando and Thomas (Tommy) Hobbs of Hueytown, 12 grandchildren; Jay Hobbs, Kristi Gordon, Dusty Hobbs, Glenn K, Nichols, Phillip L. Nichols, Eva L. Patterson, Samatha Ray Jensen, Shawna Hobbs, Tom'e Hobbs, Shane Hobbs, Jacob Hobbs and Katelyn Hobbs; 21 Great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A host of loving nieces and nephews.
