Mom was born on April 10, 1938 to Lewis and Alice Jackson in Selma, AL. She was
educated in Jefferson County, AL at Carver and Wenonah High Schools. She graduated
from Lawson State College of Nursing and retired from the Meadow Wood Nursing
Home.
She accepted Christ at an early age, joined the McAdory Temple COGIC before
attending the Abundant Life Worship Center, Lipscomb, AL.
On Friday, November 26, 2022 at about 4:43 pm GOD called her home where she was
reunited with her father, mother, brother, sister, daughter and four grandsons.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters; Voncile, Patsy and Carolyn (Jeff)
all of Bessemer, AL; four sons, Danny (Miriam) of Hinesville, GA; Timothy, Karl
(Charmane) and Reco all of Bessemer, AL; seventy three grands and great grands and a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
