Gillies, Malcolm "Mal", age 56, of Hueytown, passed away on September 27, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents Valoyd and Letty Gillies. He was retired from US Steel. Graveside services will be on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 12 noon with burial in Valhalla cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29 from 11 until 12 noon. He is survived by two brothers; John (Phyllis) Gillies of Hartselle and Cliff (Kim) Gillies of Pensacola. 3 nephews and 4 nieces.
