Mamie Lou Davis Spidle of Hueytown, Alabama, age 84, died January 5, 2013. Mamie was a member of North Highland Baptist Church where she enjoyed many close and dear friendships.

She is survived by her son, Terry E. Spidle and wife, Judy; grandsons, Jonathan Spidle (Melissa) and Wesley Spidle (Rebecca); great grandchildren, Anna Claire Spidle, Nash Spidle, Caroline Spidle and Marley Spidle; sisters, Dorothy Hadder and Lois Carmichael; brothers, Joe Davis and James Davis (Cecilia); along with many nieces and nephews.

Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, William "Buddy" Spidle; parents, Floyd and Olar Davis; brother, Leonard Davis; sisters, Ruby Wilson and Ruth Wiley.

A special thanks to the staffs of LakeView Estates Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care.

A celebration of Mamie's life will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel at 1 P.M. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the fuenral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery.
