Higginbotham, Mamie Cribbs, age 98, of Hoover, AL, formerly of Central Park, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2008. She was a longtime member of Central Park Methodist Church. She retired from Parisian Dept. Store in 1955. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Dr. Reese Sherman officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Higginbotham. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ruth (Bill) Jones; grandchildren, Karen Cunningham, Vicki Rich and Dr. Tracy S. Jones; great grandchildren, Ian and Brenna Hoppe, Cameron and Brittany Rich; a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
