Marcia Lloyd Carmichael, "Nana," entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2018 at the age of 72.

Marcia was born in Rome, Georgia on February 3, 1946, the third of three children born to Wallace and Mary Lou Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ann Milam (Gene).

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Carmichael, her two children, David Carmichael (Kathryn) and Christine Sexton (Richard), and five precious grandchildren, whom were the light of her life, Palmer and Ryder Sexton, Marley, Jacob and Harper Carmichael and her sister Carolyn Prater (Wendell).

The family would like to thank Comfort Care Hospice for the loving care provided to Marcia during the last year of her illness.

Visitation will be Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. until 12:00 at The Baptist Church at McAdory in McCalla, Alabama followed by the service at 12:00. Burial will be at Valhalla Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Big Oak Ranch.
