Margaret Evelyn Crawford Hyche, age 97, of Rock Creek, Alabama passed away on October 19, 2016. She was married for 69 years to the late Fred Milton Hyche. She was a graduate of Shelby County High School. She was a faithful member of Union Hill Baptist Church for seventy years where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was active in WMU and the Joy Group.

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and Granny. She is survived by her daughter, Martha Ellen McCullar; granddaughters Michelle Hunt (John), and Carrie Grantham (Bryan); great grandchildren John Jr., Joshua, William and David Hunt, Caroline and Crawford Grantham; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, James Marvin and Mary Ellen Crawford, sister Saranel Glenn, brother Douglas Crawford.

Visitation Services will begin at 10:00 A.M. with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 A. M. on October 24 at Valhalla Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Rock Creek Church of God, 1001 Park Road, Bessemer, AL 35023.
