Margie Ann Martin, age 76, of Birmingham died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at St. Vincents East Hospital. She is survived by one son, John T.Martin,III (Sandra); two brothers, Bobby Cochran (Pam) and Frank Cochran (Peggy) of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband,John T. Martin; her parents, Horace and Clara Cochran; one sister, Dorothy Barbour; one brother, John Cochran.

Mrs. Martin was a native of Birmingham where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Sharing the Word Independent Church in Irondale.

Services will be Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at Sharing the Word Independent Church in Irondale with Pastor Robert Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the church.Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery in Midfield.

"Mrs. Martin was a loving, caring, and self sacrificing mother. She will be greatly missed."
