Milford, Marion "Buster", age 79, of Bessemer, AL, went to be with the Lord September 5, 2008, after a long illness. He was a member of Central Park Baptist Church. Buster retired from Flowers Bakery. He was an Alabama fan and loved sports. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris; one brother, M.L. Milford of Alexander City; sister in laws and brother in laws, Helen and Richard Acton, Juanita and George Ogle, Carolyn Traina and Thelma Milford; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Ardell Reach of Atlanta and Floyd Reeves of Bessemer and Paul Parker of McGee MS. Buster loved and enjoyed family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Eula Mae Hill; brothers, Alex and Warren Milford. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Monday, September 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Central Park Baptist Church, Central Park Christian School or Comfort Care Hospice.
