age 87, of Bessemer, AL, passed away on August 13, 2007. She was a member of Raimund Heights Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved football, baseball and stock car racing. Her smile and laughter will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 12:00 Noon with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Chesser officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 10:00 until 12:00 PM. She was preceded in death by her husband William A. "Bill" Curren and son Kenneth R. Curren. Survivors: son, Jackie Curren, Sr. (JoAnn); daughter-in-law, Rebecca Curren; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; brothers, Elson C. "Buddy" Veitch and Meredith "Sonny" Veitch; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members including her pet frog Buster.
