Mark Alan Lewis age 57, from Hueytown, Alabama entered heaven on March 23, 2021.  Mark was a Jefferson County school bus driver for Pleasant Grove High School.  He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, cousin, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Jack and Barbara Garrick Lewis, his mother-in-law Jeanett Gwin Whatley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Rhonda Whatley Lewis and his daughter, Megan Garner.  His brothers, Ricky Lewis (Karen) and Tim Lewis (Sherry).  His father-in-law Edgar "Sonny" Whatley, brother-in-law Eddie Whatley, brother-in-law Allen Whatley (Denise) and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Mark was an avid Alabama football fan and lived for college football season.  He loved his family, Country, and most of all, he loved his heavenly Father.  He was a pet lover and had a big heart for animals.  He will be truly missed by his fur babies Butterscotch, Cooper, Shelly, Buster, Bella, Honey, and Abby.

Mark was a stranger to no one, enjoyed meeting and talking to people, and made friends wherever he went.  Life will never be the same and he will forever be in our hearts as he is missed by so many family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Midfield, Alabama on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 11:00-12:00.  Pastor Jason Dollar will be officiating a Chapel Service at 12:00 and Graveside Service immediately following at Valhalla Cemetery.
