Marlene Sloan Woodard, age 82, of Winfield, Al passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sarah Sloan and a son John Woodard.

Mrs. Woodard was a Arkansas native and lived in Ocala, Florida from 1960-2005 where she retired from the Florida Highway Patrol with twenty-five years of service. She moved to Winfield, AL in 2005  and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Woodard; a daughter, Sheryl Woodard; Leon Woodard (Robin) and Don Woodard (T.R.); eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jo Thibert, Donna Howland, and Luann Hart.
