Franklin, Marvin "Moochie" , age 61, of Hueytown, AL, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 24, 2009. Marvin was born July 15, 1948 in Lipscomb, AL. Marvin was a devoted son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Marvin devoted his life to his children. His parents, Eddie and Della Ruth Franklin, and older brother Jerry Franklin precede him. Marvin is survived by his first love and ex-wife Collen Sullivan; children, Cindy Franklin Bailey of Adger, Sandey Franklin Bush of FL and Gilbert Evans of FL, B.J. Franklin, Nikita Franklin, Tyler Franklin and Lizze Franklin of Albertsville. Marvin also had a great grandchild; Kadyn Bush. Sisters, Betty Harbin of Adamsville, Peggy Gattis of Warrior and Elaine Martin of Hueytown. Brothers, Larry Franklin of Vance, Bill Franklin of Shelby Co., and Jimmy Franklin of Bessemer. A host of nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with burial at Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home.
