Marvin McCombs age 83 of Irondale, AL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 2, 2021.

Marvin as preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Reta McCombs and one brother.

Marvin was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and playing his guitar. He was most known for being an educator and a guitarist.

Marvin leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Leigh Anne McCombs and Karen McCombs Henson (Greg); 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from noon until the 1 pm funeral hour at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228. Graveside Services will immediately follow the visitation at Valhalla Cemetery, 839 Wilkes Road, Midfield, AL.
