Mary Eleanor R. Howell,age 95 of Aliceville, Al, formerly of Fairfield, died January 19, 2013 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Howell was a native of Lewiston, AL and resident of Fairfield, Al most all of her adult life She was an inactive member of DAR, various Garden Clubs, and Fairfield Highlands Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Hollis B (Hank) Howell; Parents, Dr. William H and Mary Hales Richardson; and two sisters Frances I Richardson and Willie Hillary R. Thompson

She is survived by her son,Mike (Trish) Howell, Lewiston, AL; Stepson; Johnny (Bettye) Howell, Birmingham, AL; Grandson, Vince (April) Howell, Hoover, AL ; Granddaughter, Amanda (Dr. Brian) Story, Decatur, AL; Step grandson, Del (Robin) Howell, Birmingham, AL; Step granddaughter,Hollye Howell, Birmingham, AL;Great grandchildren; Parker Story, Brock Story, Abbey Grace Howell & Ben Howell.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Valhalla Chapel with Dwight Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
