Jones, Mary Ellen , age 78, of Woodstock, AL, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009. She was a member of Bibbville Baptist Church. She was retired from U.S. Steel and a graduate of Bessemer State Technical College. Funeral Services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2009 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She is survived by two sons, David Jones and Danny Jones (Michelle); three grandchildren and three great grandchildren
