Mary Carroll Mc Dougal age 84 of McCalla, AL died on November 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born June 25, 1935 to her loving mother,  Rose Nell Hogg. Mary was an only child and lived a life full of love. She met and married Gordon Carroll and they raised a family for more than 40 years, until his death. She later remarried Charles McDougal and they were married for 4 years until his death.

Mary was a woman of life, she loved traveling and playing the slots in Philadelphia, MS. She was a wonderful mother to her sons and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and spending time with her friends and family. She retired from the US Postal Service after many years of service as a Clerk for the McCall location.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, husbands, and daughter, Barbara Sue Mahan.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Robert (Cavell Alexander) Mahan and David Carroll.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 5317 Bessemer Super Highway, Midfield, AL 35228. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11am in Valhalla Funeral Home's Chapel with burial to follow in Valhalla Cemetery.
