age 82, of Bessemer, passed away on May 14, 2006. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bessemer and Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Monte had two brothers precede her in death Cecil Wyatt and Otis Wyatt. She is survived by her husband Nick Monte; daughter Carolyn Monte (Don) Harrell; step-son Joseph A. (Jeanette) Monte; three grandchildren Monte (Scotty) Morris, Donna Monte, and Nick Monte; great-grandchild William Morris. The visitation will be from 5:00 till 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Chapel funeral service will be Wed., May 17, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home with burial at Valhalla Cemetery. Rev. Bill McCall and Rev. Cecil Nelson officiating.
