Mary Pansy Peoples Grimmett, age 83, of Hueytown passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2017 at Princeton Hospital.

Ms. Grimmett was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County where she was a retired hairdresser and owned and operated Style with Care in Concord. She was a member of Concord Highlands Baptist Church and a former member of Westside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Grimmett; a son, Jeffery Sewell; a granddaughter, Jo Beth Sewell; parents, N. C. and Sally Mae Peoples; two brothers, one sister and a niece.

She is survived by two daughters, Beth Sewell and Debbie Dalby; and one grandchild, Katie Lynn Sewell

Services will be Friday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Valhalla Chapel with Pastor Mickey Bell officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Valhalla Chapel.
