Mary E. Roberson Bingham

Mary E. Roberson Bingham, age 87, of Hueytown, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025.
Born on January 23, 1938, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Amos Clark Roberson and Inez E. Caudle Roberson of Fairfield Highlands. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bobby" Roberson of Fort Walton, Florida.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle Carver Scott (Mark), Malia Pond Simpson (Larry), and Dena Pond; her cherished grandchildren James Taylor Hulsey (Kellie), Daulton Chase Scott (Anna Grace), Caitlin Snider (James), Joshua Simpson (Rochelle), Chere Pond, and Eli Pond; and her great-grandson Jaiden. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her dearly. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent her career working for Merle Norman and Parisian, from where she later retired. A lifelong lover of books, she especially enjoyed reading To Kill a Mockingbird. She also loved her fur babies and was known for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and unwavering faith. Mary lit up every room she entered with warmth and love, and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
A woman of strong faith, she spent many hours reading her Bible and reflecting on its teachings.
Mary will be laid to rest on Wednesday, September 10th at Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by graveside services at 10:45 a.m.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
