Mary Alice Sewell of McCalla, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 30, 2013. She was preceded in death by her Husband Herbert Allen Sewell, Parents Lloyd E. and Ruth C. Aldridge, and Brother David Aldridge. She is survived by her Beloved Great Granddaughter Katherine Link, Sister Judith (Ray)Clements, Brothers Roger (Jetta)Aldridge of Hot Springs Montana, Wayne (Nora) Aldridge of Yelm, Washington and Bruce (Katrina)Aldridge of Pelham, AL, 14 Nephews and Nieces and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Sewell a Retired Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson County Sheriffs office Bessemer Division was a Beloved Sister, Aunt and Grandmother. She loved her family more than herself and always put them first.

Services will be held on Friday October 4, 2013 at Valhalla Funeral Home at 1pm. The visitation will be at 11am until the time of service. Internment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
