of Chelsea, AL, passed away on October 20, 2007. Olene loved making memories for her family. Every holiday was filled with laughter, fun and food. She loved worshipping the Lord, being with her friends, camping and getting her hair fixed every Thursday. She was loved and will be missed by many. Graveside Services will be held at Valhalla Cemetery on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Valhalla Funeral Home directing. Olene was preceded in death by her parents, O.H. and Flora Whitfield; husband, James A. Wilson; brothers, T.A., Dolan, Gorman and Buster Whitfield. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Willie James Parker, Sr.; sons, Larry (Pam) Wilson, Lamar (Sharon) Wilson, David (Jan) Wilson, Lonnie (Cathy) Wilson, Jim (Wanda) Parker, Jerry (Janet) Parker and one daughter, Laura Parker; "Nanny" to eighteen grandchildren and "NannyO" to thirteen great grandchildren; sisters, Judy Lee, BeBe Sessions, Betty Jo Dado and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chelsea Church of God building fund.
