Mildred Maudine Gengler

Born on September 7, 1933 to Jessie G. Vail and Mary V. Vail. Married to Charles A. Gengler for 62 years before she became a widow in 2015. Charles and Maudine had three children by the names of Mickey, Rickey, and Barbara. Maudine, also known as "Nannie," was a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren who she loved as her very own, Curtis, Staci, Kayla, and Gina. She was a homemaker for most of her life, she loved to dance, cook, sing, read her bible, and have family gatherings every opportunity she had. She always talked about how much she loved her husband Charles and her family. She left behind a legacy and a very special piece of her heart with a lot of people. She loved the Lord with everything she had and read her bible every night before bed. Mildred Maudine Gengler went to be with the Lord her Savior on September 1, 2019 joining her husband Charles and their son, Rickey. The funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home 839 Wilkes Rd, Birmingham, AL 35228. Visitation/viewing will be from 11:00am-12:00pm. Chapel service from 12:00pm-1:00pm and grave side at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
