Jones, Mildred Elizabeth Ogden , of Hueytown, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. "T.A." Jones; her daughter, Alice "Anne" Jones; two brothers, George "Big Boy" Ogden, Jr. and John H. Ogden, Sr., and her parents, Mattie and George Ogden, Sr. She is survived by three nephews, John H. Ogden, Jr., George (Laurie) Ogden, and Mike (Lisa) Ogden. Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Jones Valley High School and Business College. She joined the staff of The Bessemer Clinic in 1958, retiring as Administrator in 1992. After retiring she was an avid traveler. Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery, Midfield, Alabama with Rev. Hillard Vance officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be sent to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
