age 87, of Pinson, passed away on Dec. 30, 2006. He was a member of 25th Ave. Baptist Church and retired from Hannah Steel. He was an Army Medic in World War II. Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife Ola; parents Jesse W. and Matilda M. Vaughn; brothers Malcolm, Lloyd, Kermit; sister Lois Mayfield. He is survived by: son James W. "Bill"(Donna) Vaughn; daughter Betty (William) Cain; six grandchildren Michael (Kim) Vaughn, Lee (Kim) Vaughn, Chris Vaughn, Leslie (Kyle) Belcher, Elizabeth (Kevin) Daniel, Melanie (Kevin) Clark; three great-grandchildren Tyler, Brandon and Brodie Vaughn; brother Ernest Vaughn (Dean) Vaughn of Winfield; sisters Mary Jo Taylor of Lexington, SC and Lettie Parr of Tuscumbia. Visitation will be Wed., Jan. 3, 2007 from 9:30 am till 11:00 am with a Chapel service at 11:00 am at Valhalla Funeral Home with burial at Valhalla Cemetery.
