Obituary

Eva Marie Fowler, age 52, passed peacefully on April 12, 2026. She was born on April 24, 1973.

Eva is survived by her loving children, Timothy Fowler, Taylor Fowler, and Kayla Jane St. George; her devoted fiancé, Clifford McCartney; her sister Amy Fowler Wade; her mother, Evelyn Fowler; and her cherished grandchildren, Karlee Moody, Jaxton Moody, Khloe Fowler, Adelyn St. George, and Sadie St. George. She is also survived by her sons-in-law, Chase Woods and Benjamin St. George.

She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Fowler, who passed on May 12, 2018, as well as her beloved grandmother, Grandma Pike.

Eva shared a deep and beautiful love with her fiancé, Cliff. They were truly soulmates, bound together in a love that carried them through every joy and every storm. Cliff walked beside her through it all. They were true kindred spirits.

She loved expressing herself through beauty-taking pride in her long natural fingernails that everyone always complimented her on, and she enjoyed doing her hair and makeup. Although she loved all flowers and enjoyed making arrangements for people, she especially loved roses. She also had a special love for butterflies, which reflected her gentle and radiant spirit.

Eva was a true warrior. She fought cervical cancer with everything she had, showing incredible strength and courage until her very last breath. Cancer did not win-Jesus won. Today, she is rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with her father and grandmother, and resting in the arms of her Savior.

She never let a single day pass without reminding her children how deeply she loved them. She was a homemaker and took great joy in it. She adored her grandchildren more than words could express and found great joy and pride in them above all. "There was no title she held more dear than 'Momma' and 'Nanny,' which she considered her greatest accomplishment and also her most treasured blessing." Eva was a light in this world, and she touched every person she met with her warmth, love, and strength.

Visitation will be held on April 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home in Midfield, AL, with the funeral service immediately following at 12:00 PM.

John 14:2-3 "In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."

Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord Forever."
