Myrtle Joyce Jolly Mead Age 79 of Mobile, AL joined her loved ones in heaven on September 10TH, 2017. A native of Brighton, AL and a longtime residence of Mobile, AL. She was an incredible mother, loving sister, loyal friend and will be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Susan Rene'' Smith Moore and granddaughter Sophia Orene Stokes. She is survived by daughters Andrea Black (Bill) and Maria Stokes (Darren), grandchildren Tammy Hogue (Steve), Charlene Thorpe (Alex), Dalton Stokes, Landon Stokes, Gavin Stokes, Josh Black (Erica) and great grandchildren Austin Hogue, Tiffany Hogue, Emilie Thorpe, Hayleigh Thorpe, Emerson Thorpe, Emerson Black and Olivia Black, her siblings Irene Bates, Bobbi Carter (Bob) and James Jolly along with lots of nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Saturday September 16th at 12:00 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral home in Midfield, AL. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. prior to a service. Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
