Nada Stuart Glaze, 95, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Feb. 14, 2019. Nada is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank D. Glaze. Nada was the youngest of the seven children born to her parents, James "Edgar" Stuart and Perry "Alba" Steen Stuart. Born in Camden, Alabama, Nada moved to Fairfield, Alabama, when the family relocated there early in her childhood. A graduate of Fairfield High School, Nada began a successful career as a bank officer and leader in the Banking Women of America organization. She was an amazing leader and administrator, gifts that infused every area of her life.

The highlights of her very rich life were all centered on relationships. First and foremost was her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She invested her time and talents to serving in local churches wherever she and Frank lived. After her Savior, Nada loved her husband, Frank, best. She and Frank were great marriage role models to so many who knew them. Their years together were marked by the fact that their hearts were always together, even when circumstances might mean they were physically apart. For years, they were the hub of all activities for the greater family. Nada , the family matriarch, was the favorite aunt for all her nieces and nephews – and the favorite of their children. When family came in, Nada threw the door open. She provided places to sleep (beds and couches and sleeping bags), feasts to feed five or fifty, and still found time for fun and games late into the night. After spending time with Nada, her family always left a little heavier, a bit wiser , and knowing without a doubt how much they were loved.
