Nancy R. Cannon, age 84, of Warrior, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was an only child born to Coy and Gladys Richards. Originally from Millport, AL in Lamar County, Nancy moved to the Birmingham area with her husband. She was a loyal employee and retiree from the Midfield City School System.  Nancy was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Warrior, Alabama. She loved the Lord, her family, and had a true servant's heart. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Thomas "Deloy" Cannon. She is survived by her sons Terry Cannon (Paula) and Jerry Cannon (Renea); grandchildren, Jason Cannon (Tiffany), Jennifer Cotton (Brad) and Lindsey Matthews (Tyler); four great granddaughters- Lizzie, Bradlee, Mackenzie, and Mallory; and extended loving family and numerous friends. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Valhalla Cemetery. Pastor Gary Creel will be officiating.
