Ms. Nancy Carol Self, age 58, of Bessemer, Alabama passed away on Thursday January 31, 2013 at home.

She was a native and life long resident of Jefferson County. She was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School, an admitting clerk for Trinity ER over 15 years, and a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father: Wesley Eugene Self and her brother David Michael Self.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her loving mother: Martha Self, one son: Glen Moreland (Jennifer), two grandchildren: Kerry Michael Moreland and Kallie Rose Moreland, brothers: Wesley "Buster" Self (Nancy), and Jeff Self, sister: Pam Duncan (Joe), and four nieces: Lisa Self Modling, Karen "KK" Burton (Jake), Jeanette Brabban (Bill), and Jessica McGraw (Nick).
